Organ Donation

Administrator log in   "My family thought it was a bit strange at first, but they came around. They can see it's important to me to feel I can help someone else. I'm glad I told them so we could talk about it. If they had just seen the form of my signature, I'm not sure they would follow through."

If you are considering donating your eyes, kidneys, heart, or other vital organs, it is important that you fill out paperwork and let your family know ahead of time. Many well-meaning donors forget this important step. If their survivors protest, without documentation-and family members knowing about the documentation-the donor's wishes may not be followed.
