(Self-Help And Resource Exchange) can help provide a monthly basic supplemental food package to families in exchange for a reduced cost, and a commitment to fulfill volunteer service in the community. This program is open to anyone willing to give back a small part of their time.

The Meals on Wheels program is designed to make sure that homebound individuals get at least one nutritious meal a day. Most meal deliverers are trained to recognize symptoms of problems, thus meal delivery offers some reassurance that an objective third party is touching base each day. Program operated by Senior Citizen Industries, Inc. Hot meals delivered to the homebound elderly five days a week (within city limits). Also available is a supplemental sack lunch or a frozen meal that could be used as an evening meal or for the weekend.
