Certified Diabetes Education - Saint Francis Medical Center

This program recognized by the American Diabetes Association provides individual diabetes education by a Certified Diabetes Educator. Group instruction includes "Taking Control of Your Diabetes" class which will assist participants in managing diabetes and lowering risk of developing long-term complications.

The Diabetes Education Center sponsors a comprehensive four-day program which promotes understanding and good control of diabetes. To provide continuation of care, the center will send your physician a detailed summary of the class you attend.
