RxAssist 877-844-8442 (toll-free) RxAssist gives HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS information on accessing more than 100 pharmaceutical manufacturers' Patient Assistance Programs. This is NOT a service for patients, but it is an excellent site to assist your doctor in filling out the necessary forms for a Patient Assistance Program. These programs usually offer a limited supply of free prescription medication to eligible patients. Providers can search RxAssist based on company name, brand drug name, generic name, or drug therapy class (example: asthma, hyperthyroid, antibiotic). Application forms are available on-line for the 40+ programs that allow their forms to be copied freely. The Medicine Program 573-996-7300 The Medicine Program is a privately sponsored, national service offering prescription medicine free-of-charge to individuals in need, regardless of age, if they meet the sponsor's criteria. To participate in this national program, you must not have insurance or access to a government program that pays for prescriptions. Together Rx 800-865-7211 (toll-free) Together Rx is a discount pharmacy card that allows you to take advantage of discounts provided by several pharmaceutical companies on 150 widely prescribed medicines. The amount of the discount varies (15-40% off) depending on the drug in question. To receive a TogetherRx card, you must be enrolled in Medicare and have no access to public or private prescription drug coverage. There are also income limitations.
