A residential care facility is appropriate for persons who need 24-hour care but not necessarily full-time nursing care. Persons with dementia are ideally suited to living in a residential care facility because they are mobile and physically healthy enough to participate in activities but need ongoing non-medical supervision to remain safe. For more information about this and other types of care available, see our article about Getting Help.
Inclusion of a service on this webpage does not imply endorsement by Grand Island Coalition for End of Life Care. Similarly, ommission of a service does not reflect criticism. We have simply included those services known to us at the time of creating this website. |
